in 2012 our Easter Seals Benefit Show will be held March 30th and April 1st and located at the SPS headquarters, located at the Easter Seal Center on 3205 Hurley Way in Sacramento.

The Easter Seals Show is two days of fun with over a million stamps available. These stamps are available put onto tables for you to sort through and purchase at .02-cents each! This is a relaxed, fun time for World wide and U.S. collectors to sit together and visit while searching for that special stamp find. Proceeds from the .02-cent stamps go to Easter Seals.

Bourse Dealers are also at the show and there are Door Prizes too!

In 2012 the Sacramento Philatelic Society will host it's annual show SACAPEX on November 3rd and 4th. This stamp show happens the first full weekend in November and brings a complete stamp show experience. Please mark your calendar for this show, especially if you have not visit before or in some time.

Whether you have been collecting for years or are a beginner, SACAPEX has much to offer you. A large bourse (dealers), exhibits, kids stamp table, silent bid sale, and so much more are here with FREE parking and admission.

Each year the Sacramento Philatelic Society holds four Silent Bid Sales. The items sold in our Silent Bid Sales come from our Members. Each Member can bring up to fifteen lots for each of the Silent Bid Sales. This is a great way for our members to share their unwanted items with others.

Four weeks prior to the Silent Bid Sale, Sign up Sheets and Lotting Cards are handed out at regular Wednesday night meetings. One week before the event, items are to be brought into the clubs regular Wednesday night meeting for cataloguing. For the SACAPEX Silent Bid Sale items will be collected 2 weeks prior to the event.

Dates for the SPS Silent Bid Sales in 2012 are:
February 1- In place of our regular meeting
May 2- In place of our regular meeting
August 1- Not being held
November 3 - At SACAPEX 2012
