The Sacramento Philatelic Society annual elections are happening May 30th. The nominating committee presented a slate of nominees for the following officer & BOD positions, Nominations for officers for 2012-2013

Easter Seals Benefit Stamp Show

The Easter Seals Show is two days of fun with over a million stamps available at the low price of 2-cents. These stamps are available put onto tables for you to sort through at your leisure. This is a relaxed, fun time for World wide and U.S. collectors to sit together and visit while searching for that special stamp find. Proceeds from the .02-cent stamps go to Easter Seals.

Bourse Dealers are also at the show and there are Door Prizes too!

Our club has a new Vice-President. Kent Burrow will be filling in the vacancy until the May elections. Thank you Kent!

 

SACAPEX Co-Chairs Appointed

The Club President, Ernie Teays, is pleased to announce that this years SACAPEX 2012 show will have Co-Chairpersons. Joanne Berkowitz and Kent Burrow will chair the event.

They are seeking to fill the various responsibilities of the show with volunteers. Dave Coleman has stepped up as this years Exhibit Chair. If you wish to be involved this year, contact either Joanne or Kent.

It is hard to believe that we have entered 2012. The last year has brought many stamp memories in collecting and friendships that continue to last.

If you have an interest in stamp collecting, we hope that you will make the time to come see us.

We meet every Wednesday evening from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Easter Seal Center, located at 3205 Hurley Way in Sacramento. Map
